Male Catheterisation training


This awareness course is taught over 3 hours and includes practical experience using a special simulation device. The course provides the knowledge to support practice. The course will provide theoretical and practical awareness before returning to the workplace to undertake competency to insert a male catheter appropriately and confidentially. 

This course will give delegates the theoretical and practical awareness before returning to the workplace to undertake practical competency to deem them competent to insert a male catheter appropriately and confidentially.  Supervision in the workplace is required until sufficient practical experience is gained.
