Moving People Safely Awareness Level 1

CPD Certified Training Approved by Skills for Care

This course is ideal for all workplace requirements, as it includes safer moving and positioning of people as well as manual handling of objects.  This is a shorter version of our full course.  We recommend that you take our level 2 course rather than this course if you work in any care environment.

This course does NOT include practical hoist exercises nor as much practical training as it is just aimed as an awareness course, increasing knowledge in moving techniques rather than practical experience.

  • Families
  • Dental workers
  • First Aiders

This course comes with 3.0 hours of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
