Sample Video: Introduction to advanced pet first aid

Advanced pet first aid level 3 (VTQ) covers much more details about the different injuries and illnesses that can affect dogs and cats. The course has been designed to give the pet owner or pet professional much more information in order to be able to detect early when something is wrong and give the appropriate care.

The course also covers about anatomy and physiology of animals and different first aid treatments that are available.  Although the treatment is basically the same between dogs and cats, the advanced course has a dedicated section to cats.

The course can be taken 100% online, therefore, you do not need to complete a practical module but if you would also like a practical session to practice the skills, you can attend one of our national day courses with an approved and monitored advanced pet first aid instructor locally.  For more information on this, contact us.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
