Prevention of accidents is very important, and the correct care for your dog can prevent it from getting hurt or becoming ill. On this course, we discuss different things you need to think about when you get a dog or puppy. This course is aimed to go alongside our pet first aid course to look at caring for your dog rather than dealing with an emergency.
Dogs are great fun and will be a friend to you and your family, but there are a few things you can learn to make their lives more enjoyable.
This course comes with 2.0 hours of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this. Total course time includes 49 minutes of video training as well as knowledge reviews, final test, remedial help and reviewing downloaded material.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
“Easy to follow and understand. A lot of what is covered is common sense that any committed dog owner would know but there are also a few things that some people may not know - the fact that it's against the law to leave your dog alone in a car for any length of time - it amazes me how many people still do this!! The test at the end is straight forward but overall this is a good, value for money basic course that is a must for any dog owner.”
“This course would be brilliant for new dog owners and it's really cheap”
